All of our public Schools here in Gardendale consistently rank at the top academically in the Jefferson County School System. The Citizens’ Education Committee, made up of community leaders and parents, gives a community voice to all of our schools and makes sure the future stays bright for our children.
In addition, the individual schools each boast very active PTAs where combined volunteer hours number in the thousands each semester. There are two private schools in Gardendale, K-6 and K-12, and several private pre-schools.
